![]() ![]() ![]() I do plan to study excel in great depth in my new job, and hopefull I'll be able to help out as well someday. I absolutely love this board! Big thanks to all the people who make this board a success. I've received absolutely wonderful support on all three occasions. ![]() P.S I have been working on a massive project over the past week, and have asked for help on three different problems over that time. The fact that I want the user to be able to enter hard values in cell A3 AND A2 makes it difficult to use formulas in the normal way. I want the user to be able to change either:ġ) The cost figure in cell A2, which would automatically change the cost percentage in A3, ORĢ) The cost percentage in A3 which would automatically calculate the cost figure in A2. In cell A2, the costs this year, and in cell A3, the percentage of cost over sales ("=A2/A1"). Suppose in cell A1 I have the sales figure for a company. This is a bit difficult to explain, so I'll try my best using an example. ![]()
